Hackers are of Three Types:

1.White Hat Hacker
2.Grey Hat Hacker
3.Black Hat Hacker

Who are White Hat Hackers?

A Hacker is known as Computer expert who have extraordinary knowledge and skills in the world of cyber-security.Hackers are also known as Cyber Criminals b
ecause they hack systems and websites which are illegal according to law.

A Hack can take control of any system and modify its hardware or software depending upon the flaws or vulnerability the system have.For example a hacker gained access to a DNS Server,the hacker will be able to deface all domains in the server.

White hat hackers are also known as Ethical hackers.These hackers dont damage any system,they search for the flaw on a system and report the flaw to the owner of that system instead of damaging it.

Grey Hat Hackers:

A grey hat hacker is someone who do the combined work of a white hat and black hat hacker.A grey hat hacker uses his skills for legal and illegal acts.Grey hat hackers on hack to prove their skills if they cross their limits like damaging systems they will be known as Black hat hackers.

Black Hat Hackers:

A Black hat hacker is also known as a Cracker or a dark sided hacker.
Because his acts is illegal.Black Hat Hackers are the most skilled hackers because they use their skills to crack system and gain access to secured systems like a Bank Database.Black hat hackers do acts like: cracking bank accounts in order to steal money from it and make tranfer of money from hacked account to his account in order to get all the money. or attacking computer network of an organization for money.

Some famous cases of black hat hackers include Kevin Mitnick, who used his skills to gain access to organizations like Nokia,Fujitsu etc.
He is now a white hat hacker.
